![]() And the best build for this character is the Torchlight Infinite Commander Build. The Torchlight Infinite Commander is a pet class. ![]() This guide mainly summarizes the best builds for each class, just to give you some help. I hope they finally introduce something like this into the game at some point.Have you just played the latest Torchlight? Are you worried about how to set up your character for the endgame? Then you've come to the right place. I’ve wanted this style of taking in WoW since I saw out in TERA many years ago. And if you run out you run thre risk of being stunned and not having any defensives for 10 seconds. You couldn’t just sit there and turtle all day because eventually you’ll run out of block value and need to attack. You could completely soak all incoming damage as long as you timed your block correctly. Imagine having to time your blocks with the mobs attacks to get the most out of your defense instead of a set and forget. With WoW finally introducing the tech to charge spells by holding down ther button longer, it finally means they could let you simply raise your shield to block as long as you’re holding the button down. Your block value regenerates slowly on its own but can regen feast by using rage spending abilities. Your block value will stay at 0 for 10 seconds at which point it will passively start to refill again as well as fill quickly from your dps abilities.īlock damage, use retaliation occasionally after taking big hits. If your block is broken by damage (whether large or small) you’ll be stunned for 2 seconds and be unable to block for 10 seconds. If a very large hit comes in say for 2500 you’d block all 2000 and take 500 damage. If a large hit comes in, say 1500, you’ll still block all 1500 leaving you with 500 left to be able to block smaller hits. It would slowly regenerate over time while not actively blocking. Eventually you’ll have to stop and attack. The block value could deplete at a rate of 25 per second while you’re holding your shield up, meaning you can’t sit there all day blocking. If you used your retaliation ability after taking that hit, you’d deal a bit of damage back to the mob and regain 80 block value. If a mob swings at you for 100 damage, you will block all 100 damage and that will be subtracted from your block value gauge leaving you with 1900 total damage that can be blocked while your shield is up. We’ll use small whole numbers for easy comparison. You’d have a large amount of block value that regenerates on its own over time or you could build it faster by using your dps abilities. Your rage spenders would build block value. You’d use your rage builders to build rage. ![]() This ability costs rage so you can’t spamm it indefinitely. You’d have a retaliation ability that lets you regain 80% of the value lost in the last 2 seconds on a 4 second cd. You’d have a block value bar that depletes slowly as you hold your shield up and takes a chunk out every time you block an attack for ther amount if damage that was negated. You can block 100% of incoming damage as long as you have the block value/resource for it. As long as you’re holding it you’re blocking You hold the button and you raise your shield.
